From a cost-saving perspective, I’d recommend going with an agency that can offer a wider range of searches at a lower cost point.

Whether you’re looking for a small or large amount of work, there is definitely a virtual assistant monthly package out there for you. Here are some big virtual assistant companies that charge lower prices:
Efficise: $20 for 5
Efficise is based out of Karachi, Pakistan. The company was launched in 2012, and from what I can tell the reviews come in pretty good. While they’re not perfect, most people seem to be satisfied with their work and, most importantly, they come in at a good price with their cheapest plan affording you five 30-minute tasks per month for $20.
Tasks can include:
- Handling emails
- Scheduling meetings
- Converting documents
- Getting quotes
- Arranging business trips
- Updating your websites
Note that with Efficies’ location being in Pakistan, you’ll likely face a bit of a delay for responses due to the time difference.
OkayRelax: $30 for 5 tasks
OkayRelax is located state-side, so those time differences you experience with an international team will likely be gone. But they cost more, as one would expect. OkayRelax as “college-educated” assistants that have passed their “intensive training program” so you would expect a more bang-for-your-buck deal here.
Their entry-level package provides five 30-minute tasks per month for $30. Task ideas include:
- Finding contacts
- Online research
- Managing emails
- Data entry
- Making calls
Perssist: $28 for 2 hours
Perssist is a virtual assistant on your phone. They boast a globally distributed team that can help you with all the business tasks you don’t have time to do. Perssist’s base plan offers two hours of assistance per month for $28; you get a random assistant on this plan instead of working with the same one every time.
Some of their example tasks include:
- Calls
- Research
- Collecting information
- Finding services
- Trip planning
- Ordering flowers
Perssist is out of New York City and has virtual assistants located around the world.
Task Virtual: $60 for 5 hours
TaskVirtual is an India-based company that offers worldwide virtual assisting. Their basic business plan offers five hours of work per month for $60. You can also choose the pay-as-you-go option for $13 an hour. They offer a free seven-day trial in case you want to try them out.
Some of their services include:
- Writing and documentation
- Transcription
- Presentation
- Article and content writing
- Email management
Note that there could be a reply delay due to the time difference.
Tasks EveryDay: $6.98 per hour
Tasks EveryDay offers an hourly rate of $6.98 for a dedicated virtual assistant. The company is based out of California with offices in the Philipeans and India. They offer one dedicated virtual assistant and are open 24/7.
Their suggested services include:
- Market research
- Online research
- Social media data research
- Creating documents
Again, there might be a response delay based on the time difference. But the company says they’re open 24/7, so I imagine that is not the intended case.
