Female-focused business ideas are great for business. Women are a HUGE audience. They tend to have a lot of buying power, from deciding what a household eats, to what they wear and even where they go.
This includes households with one or two incomes, with or without kids, and married or single. If your product is focused on females, it’s good and you know how to market, chances are you can make a viable business.
And there are some awesome female-focused business ideas out there. These are the ones that I wish I’d thought of:
Subscription Boxes by Causebox
A sustainable subscription box with amazing products for women.
It’s no surprise that I’m a huge subscription box fanatic. While I only subscribe to two, there are WAY more that I’d love to have on my list. But my absolute favorite is the Causebox.
Not only is this a killer subscription box with amazing products (seriously, this season I’m getting a duffle bag, passport wallet and a gorgeous necklace) but their products have a really unique twist—their products make the world a better place.
With a focus on sustainability, they “find the best products that do good and look good.” Then they tell you how each product makes a positive impact on its local community and the world as a whole in a handy little storybook that comes in each box.
These guys are killing it on the women’s subscription box circuit and they’re my favorite subscription box to recommend to women looking to get themself something special (on a semi-regular basis). This is definitely one of those female-focused business ideas that I wish I’d thought of first.
Fashionable Reads by Travel Fashion Girl
A killer travel blog that helps you pack like a pro, pick what to wear and make sure you don’t forget anything you need.
Full-disclosure, I occasionally pen articles for Travel Fashion Girl so I might be a tad bit biased, but even before I started doing so I absolutely loved the content.
Travel Fashion Girl is one of those “why didn’t I think of that” female-focused business ideas. The answer in my case is that I haven’t always been that fashionable (I have good days and bad days) and until recently I never really traveled—but still.
The Travel Fashion Girl blog delivers top-notch content like packing lists, outfit ideas and must-have travel items that help make your travels better (and make sure you have something to wear for every situation without packing your entire wardrobe).
It’s because of this blog that I managed to travel carry-on only on my trip to Victoria, British Columbia earlier this year saving me a ton of time and a little bit of cash. If you’re an over-packer, under-packer or just want some ideas of what to bring to a certain destination, I would highly recommend checking it out.
The Business Traveler’s Best Friend: Away Travel
A suitcase brand that works for you, a must-have for business travelers.
Away Travel doesn’t make products for only women, but it was founded by two women who are abolishing their competition in the luggage department. Forget your boring, regular suitcase and travel with one that works for you.
What do I mean, you ask? Away suitcases are built to last, sized perfectly for most major carriers AND they can charge your phone up to five times during you’re trip. That’s right, your suitcase has the ability to charge devices.
The Away carry-ons have a built-in injectable battery which means that you don’t need to find one of the coveted airport plugs when your phone runs out of juice. As a digital nomad, this is definitely one of the female-focused business ideas that I’d thought of first.
